Anna Maria Garcia Plascencia

Marzo 22, 1963 - Abril 25, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna Garcia Plascencia. Anna was a woman of warmth, generous spirit, and deep caring for others. Anna was born on March 22, 1963, in Sacramento, California. She was called home on April 25, 2026.

Through her journey of 63 years, she touched many lives. Within an instant of meeting Anna, it was clear she had a deep and abiding love for her family. She was quick to laugh (her giggle was infectious), an absolute master in the kitchen, had a flare for style, and was always thinking of others. Anna enjoyed looking for antiques and surrounded herself with items of sentimental value. She had a strong sense of faith and wore her heart on her sleeve.

Anna's legacy of love for her family and God will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years Fausto, daughter Sophia, son-in-law Ulyces, and three grandsons Santiago, Max, and Giovanni, who were the lights of her life; along with her mother Mary and siblings Erika, Korena, and Francisco, in addition to many other family and friends who will sadly miss her. A vigil and rosary will take place on May 14, 2026 5:00-8:00 pm, and memorial services celebrating Anna's life will be held on May 19, 2026 9:00-11:00 am, all at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center (6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento). We invite all who knew and loved Anna to join us in honoring her memory. If you would like to send flowers for either the vigil or memorial services, please direct them to St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center.
