It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Kevin David Hite of Wyandotte, MI — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
What remains is memory — and the gratitude of those he loved.
What we carry forward is the light others gave us.
Kevin David Hite, born February 7, 1967, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 28, 2026, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 59.
Kevin was a man who embraced life's simple pleasures with enthusiasm and joy. He found freedom and exhilaration in riding his cherished Harley and took great pride in the tranquility of his garden. An avid cook, Kevin delighted in the art of canning, particularly savoring the process of preserving vegetables from his own garden.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kimberly Hite; his grandparents, Alex and Alice Wargo; and his godparents, John and Olga Darnay.
Kevin's memory will forever be cherished by those he leaves behind, including his devoted parents, Robert and Sandra Hite, his loving daughter, Maya (Tyler) Carraway; his treasured grandchildren, Preston, Ethan, and Isabella; his brother John Hite; his sister Kimberly (John) Nerowski; and his fiancée, Sharon Berry.
Though Kevin's journey has ended, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, as they remember the warmth of his laughter and the kindness of his heart.
