Ronald P. Princiotta November 23,1967 - April 25,2026 Ronald P. Princiotta, of South Boston, MA went home to The Lord on April 25,2026. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, he passed peacefully with his loving family at his side. Ronald worked for the Federal Reserve Bank as an HVAC technician for 35 years. He also went on to start his own business R.P Mechanical. He was a diligent hard worker and took pride in everything he did. He was passionate about his favorite sport, Street Hockey. He ensured that all in the South Boston area had a street hockey league, which they played in what was then known as Columbia Park. He also enjoyed playing in Cranston, Rhode Island, and then The South Shore Hockey league in Marshfield. He was not only passionate about the sport but his teammates as well. He was born and raised in South Boston,MA. He was the beloved son of the late James Princiotta , Stepmother late Betty Hogan, his mother late Marguerite Micaloonis- Nelson and late husband William Nelson. He is survived by his brother James and wife Susan Princiotta of Oregon, Sister Karen and husband Bruce Casey of Whitman, MA, Brother Wayne Princiotta and wife Elizabeth of Hanson,MA Brother Kevin Princiotta of South Boston, And Stepbrother John Hogan of Whitman,MA He is also survived by his 5 nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews, 3 surviving aunts and one uncle, and a multitude of cousins. Visiting hours will be held Sunday May 3, 2026 3pm to 7 pm Casper Funeral Home 187 Dorchester St South Boston, MA In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations made in memory of Ronald Princiotta to benefit The McCarthy Hospice Care Center.
