Sylvia Fay Gilbert, nee Malamood, age 97. Beloved wife of the late Harry Gilbert; cherished mother of Brian Gilbert (Joyce Yuen) and Renee (Richard) Miller and the late Stewart Gilbert; loving grandmother of Brittany (Dario) Garcia, Chelsea Gilbert, Jett Miller and Mark McHaley and great-grandchildren Lev, Lucille "Lucy", Victoria and Liam; devoted daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Malamood; dear sister of the late Becky, Anne and Rene; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral Friday, May 8th, 2 pm, at Shalom Memorial Park Wilke Rd North of Rand Rd, Arlington Heights.
