Luis Rafael Sanabria, 86, of New Haven, CT, passed away Saturday April 25, 2026. He was born in Guanica, Puerto Rico to the late Luis Sanabria and Angelina Ayala Sanabria on November 16, 1939.
Luis was a dedicated member of Manantial de Vida Church in New Haven for many years, along with his beloved wife, Narcisa Sanabria. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to cook a great meal for them. He was a fantastic chef who shared his specialty with the patients at Whitney Manor.
Luis leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Narcisa Ocasio Sanabria; his children, Luis Rafael Sanabria (wife, Martha Sanabria), Marisol Uzquiano (husband, Juan Uzquiano), and Claribel Sanabria Santiago (husband, Juan Roman); stepdaughter, Yolanda Santiago; grandchildren, Jose Sáez, Maribel Sáez, Angel Sáez, David Sáez, Jessica Roman, Erica Roman, Luis Enrique Roman, Brianna N. Sanabria, and Rafael L. Sanabria; 9 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family of brother and sisters along with a host of relatives and friends.
