In Loving Memory of Luisa Marie Sonntag

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, and daughter, Luisa Sonntag, who left us on April 27, 2026. She will be greatly missed by her Husband of 33 years, Erich; Son, Erich Michael; Mother, Ofilia; siblings; Lambert and Linard.

She was a fighter in every sense, bravely battling several illnesses in her later years, yet she never allowed her health challenges to diminish her vibrant spirit or her fashion-forward sense.

As the most loving mother, Luisa poured her heart into caring for her family. She was deeply proud of her son's military service and was proud to be an Airforce Mom. Her love was most evident in the thoughtful gifts she loved to give and finding joy in making others smile.

Music was her passion. She found joy in singing and dancing, often filling our homes with music that reminded us of life's simple pleasures. Her ability to light up a room with her energy and warmth will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate her life-a life filled with love, laughter, and innumerable beautiful memories. Luisa taught us the importance of strength, kindness, and the joy of giving. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her generous heart.

In her honor, we invite those who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her life and legacy.
