Some stories deserve to be told slowly. This is one of them.

Born in 2005, Raynall began a life that would touch many along the way.

A life cut short does not mean a life unfinished — only one we wish had longer.

Raynall Rajon Burgess known to his family and friends as "Nelly, Pooda or Toonchie" born January 8, 2005, in Lancaster California. The second born son to Kevin and Raynay Burgess, who brought light laughter and energy into every room he entered. Known for his big smile, kind spirit, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. Raynall had a heart that reached far beyond himself. Raynall attended Sunnydale Elementary, Amargosa Middle School, Cerritos and Lancaster High School. High school presented challenges for him and there were moments when the road to graduation felt long and difficult, but Raynall showed true determination and strength. Walking to school and the quad with his nephew Damir Hargrave was one of the best high school years they experienced along with their love of basketball. With persistence, hard work and the encouragement of those that loved him, he kept pushing forward, in the end Raynall achieved something that he was deeply proud of, which was earning his high school diploma. He then received his Guard card while looking for permanent security job he became gainfully employed at Jersey Mike's where he learned to make a mean sandwich and tight wrap, LOL! With the help of his father and oldest sister Kevin and Amber (Whitey) Burgess, he was able to buy his first car which he was beyond excited to have. Raynall was working with his older sister Karisma (Burgess) Sanford in getting enrolled into college to pursue his degree in the medical field.Raynall had so much life ahead of him, and though his journey ended far too soon his spirit, love, and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.Raynall had two aunt's Kandi Burgess Melanie Reeves, grandmother Kathy Reeves, Grandfather Steven Burgess & Kevin Tyler and his brother Kevon Dre Burgess who preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his parents Kevin Burgess (Erika McAfee), Raynay Burgess, 2 older sisters Amber Burgess, Karisma Sanford (Burgess)(Queen Sanford), Grandmother Phyllis Harris, 4 nieces Harley Maden, Kapri, Ryder & Novah Burgess, 3 nephews Damari and Damir Hargrave, Bentley Maden, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
