Richard was born June 1, 1960 in Kodiak, Alaska…a fact that he was very proud of.Richard grew up and went to high school in Ukiah, California. He graduated from Ukiah High School. Richard then earned an AA degree in Radiology Technique from Los Angeles Junior College. He enjoyed the next forty years in Los Angeles, California.Richard is survived by his mother, Marlene Werra, brother, Mike Werra and sisters, Dr. Kathleen Persky and Christine Werra.A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 900 S. Oak St, Ukiah, CA on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ukiah Hospice, 620 S. Dora St., Ukiah, CA 95482 might be considered.
