Patrick "Pat" Kline of Aurora, CO has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Patrick "Pat" Kline, born October 17, 1954, in York, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 30, 2026. Pat spent much of his life working with carnivals, a place where he felt at home among the movement, the people, and the stories that came with life on the road. His easygoing nature and steady presence made him someone others naturally gravitated toward. He enjoyed quiet mornings spent fishing, the beloved Apple Butter tradition that brought family together year after year, and the simple joy of playing with his nieces and nephews, who adored his humor and gentle spirit. And above all else, Pat appreciated life's small comforts - especially a cup of black coffee and a cold beer, which he treated as the perfect pairing for good conversation and good company. Pat is survived by his sisters Betty (Walter) Michalak of Dover, Anna Mae Brugger of North Hampton, and Deanna Kline of Aurora, Colorado, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Deanie Kline, and his siblings Danny Kline, Henry Kling, Rosela Ness, Frances Nelson, and Penny Sue Raynes. Pat will be remembered for his warmth, his stories, and the way he made ordinary moments feel like a comedy show. A visitation will be held at Gladfelter Funeral Home, 822 East Market St York PA 17403 on Friday, May 8, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where family and friends are invited to gather and honor Pat's life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Betty Michalak to help offset the cost of the arrangements.
