With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Clifton Barkley of Garland, TX.

Clifton held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
Honor is not a word lightly given. Clifton earned it.
Age 71, of Garland, Texas was born July 28, 1954. He went to be with his Lord and savior May 3, 2026. Clif is survived by his loving son, Heath Barkley and wife, Karlene; grandchildren, Ford and Lila Barkley; sister-in-law, Tammy Casstevens and husband, J.D.; he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Tena Barkley.
Clif was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, a former member of New Liberty Baptist Church. Clif is a veteran of the United States Navy and a former employee of the United States Post Office. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
