Eddie Earl Robertson, age 76, of Blountsville, Alabama passed away on May 2, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Robertson was born on February 4, 1950, to parents Alton Bernie Robertson and Etta Maxine Davis Robertson. He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with family. He was also a talented musician and artist. Mr. Robertson is preceded in death by his father, Alton Bernie Robertson; mother, Etta Maxine Davis Robertson; brother, Loyal Alton (Deana) Robertson; sisters, Edna Jo Miller and Carolyn Ann Gurley; son, Edwin Lee Wood; brothers-in-law, James Bryant and DL Bryant; and sister-in-law, Marie Thomas. Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Annie Sue Robertson of Blountsville; sons Wesley Adam (Tamatha) Wood of Athens, Tennessee, Joseph Nathaniel Wood of Blountsville, and Matthew Caleb Wood of Blountsville; a daughter of Vestavia Hills; brother-in-law, Gerald Miller of Blountsville; sisters-in-law, Flonez Hutchens of Snead and Annie Ruth Hogland of Cleveland; along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Funeral Service will be Friday May 8, 2026, at 1 PM at Blountsville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Brant Hutchens, Donnie Blackmon, Corey Smith, George Dorning, Eddie Dorning and Steve Schwanke.
