With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Fernando A. Garza of Corpus Christi, TX.

Fernando A. Garza, 67, passed away on May 2, 2026. He was born on December 26, 1958, in Corpus Christi to Magdalena P. Garza and Fernando R. Garza. A proud graduate of W.B. Ray High School, Class of 1976. Fernando went on to build a life centered on family and hard work.
On March 8, 1985, he married the love of his life, Tillie, and together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. He was a dedicated employee of Pete's Chicken-N-More and took pride in his work. One of Fernando's greatest passions was growing his business, Fern's Sublimation & More. He took pride in showcasing his work at the Corpus Christi Art Walk and other local market events. He especially enjoyed creating custom pieces; including tumblers, 3D-printed art, and a variety of personalized items.
Fernando was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He especially loved celebrating the holidays, with Halloween holding a special place in his heart. He never missed a chance to dress up and have fun.
He will be deeply remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for the Dallas Cowboys, and his remarkable sense of humor. Fernando had a unique gift for making others laugh and brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him.
Fernando was preceded in death by his father, Fernando R. Garza; his mother, Magdalena P. Garza; and his brother, Robert P. Garza.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tillie. His children, Tillie (Joe) Serna, James (Valerie) Martinez, and Denise Garza. His five grandchildren, Joey (Amanda), Christopher, Celeste, Leo, and Alexis. His siblings, Lolly, Yolanda, Maggie, and Ricky.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Friday, May 15th with a rosary and service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.
