With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jane Lorena Meredith of Boise, ID.
These words are offered in her memory — small, but heartfelt.
Jane held deeply to the Latter-day Saints faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
What Jane believed shaped how she loved.
Jane Lorena Wiebers Meredith passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. She was born on February 7, 1947, in San Francisco, California, to John and Mary Wiebers.
Jane was the eldest of three daughters and shared a lifelong bond with her sisters, Judy Stanley and JoAnn Foulk. She spent her childhood in various parts of California before attending Brigham Young University in Utah.
While at BYU, Jane met Roger Seaman, and they married soon after. Together, they raised seven children and built a life that took them to Washington, Colorado, Nevada, and Minnesota. Although their marriage ended, Jane's love of her children remained the center of her life.
Jane later married David Meredith, with whom she shared many happy years. Together they lived in Minnesota before moving to Utah, Arizona, Idaho, and ultimately settling back in Arizona– a place Jane deeply loved and considered her home, especially for its warmth and sunshine.
Jane will be remembered for her deep love of family and her ability to find joy in life's simple moments. Her dedication to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a quiet but constant part of her life, reflected in her steady faith. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were her greatest pride.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Meredith; her children: Janel (Jason) Jones, Erin (Allan) McRae, Roger (Cheryl) Seaman, Amanda (Daniel) Sondergaard, John (JoDell) Seaman, Sara (Thomas) Foster, Jared (Dayna) Seaman, Misty (Todd) Joyner, Rob (Cindy) Meredith, and Tawnya Hood. She also leaves behind 35 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Jane's warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
