With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Janie Carrasco of San Antonio, TX.

These pages are a small offering toward a much larger life.

Janie spent her working life as ['AT&amp'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

What remains is what was loved.

Janie Carrasco born August 5, 1950, passed away on May 2, 2026. Janie was a graduate of Fox Tech high school and worked for AT&T for over 20 years she took joy in her grandkids and loved visiting with family & friends she loved to travel especially beach and

casino trips!

She was very generous and always willing to help those in need Janie is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Carrasco, Jr. grandson Gavin Guedea, mother Lorenza Garza, brothers Raul Garza, Jr. and Genaro Garza. Janie is survived by her son Gilbert "Che" Carrasco III, grandson Gian Guedea, daughter Catherine Guedea, and son in law Carlos Guedea, Jr. along with brothers Alberto Garza, Frank Martinez, and Adolfo Martinez, numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, goddaughters, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held in Janie's honor on Saturday May 16,2026 at Castle Ridge mortuary north from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with rosary at 6pm.
