Marilee spent her working life as ['truck driver and later trained others entering the profession'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
What is taught through a parent's example outlasts what is taught through their words.
Marilee Reddin found Peace on April 25, 2026, in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1958, in Pasadena, California, to Donald and Rita Robertson.
Marilee spent much of her working life in roles that reflected her strong work ethic and willingness to learn. She worked as a truck driver and later trained others entering the profession, sharing her knowledge and experience. She also held positions in painting, management, as a district manager for truck stops, and spent time in the insurance field. Through each role, she remained dedicated and dependable.
She is survived by her mother, Rita McLennan; children, Marilee Ashcraft, Stephen S. Weatherford and his wife Ashley Weatherford, and Shawn W. Weatherford Shawn and his wife, Aaliyah Weatherford; sisters, Debra Brewer and Suzanne Mummert; brother, Adam Bay; grandchildren, Calum Foldenauer, Cherish Morrison, Kylee Weatherford, Irelynn Weatherford, Brandy Rios, Malachi Weatherford, Hosanna Weatherford, Nehemiah Weatherford, and Marigold Weatherford; Five Great-Grandchildren, Ella Foldenauer, Josiah Morrison, Emryn Morrison, Ezra Morrison, and Bennett Rios.
Marilee valued her family deeply and remained connected to them throughout her life. She will be remembered as an awesome teacher with her wisdom, and a loving friend to everyone she knew. Her presence will be truly missed.
