Sheila Jan Smith, age 74 passed away on Sunday morning, April 26, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 20, 1951 in Gardner, Massachusetts to Leona Mary Elizabeth Punt and Charles Bogan. She married John Paul Bourget and later divorced. Married Dennis Wayne Smith, he preceded her in death. Graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1970. Sheila was the supervisor for Airborne Wheelchair Services and supervisor to Security at the Salt Lake City Airport. Member of the Choir at St. Marguerites Catholic Church in the late 1980's and early 90's.

Survived by a sister: Shirley Bennett. Brother: George Bureau.. Her five daughters: Krissy Bourget, Tammie Bourget Brown, Dawn Bourget-Bahena, Jennifer Bourget-Wilson, Cynthia Bourget. Step-Daughter: Dennette Smith. Also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband Dennis, parents. Son; Johnny Bourget, grandson; Elijah Brown, step-daughter; Ileana and step-son; Vick Smith.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1 PM at the New Life Christian Church, 411 E Utah Ave, Tooele, Utah 84074. Burial will follow in the Tooele City Cemetery.
