William Pat Emery of Erwin, TN, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.
These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.
William spent his working life as ['construction supervisor for many years for J'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
Some legacies are not written; they walk the earth, named after those who came before.
William "Bill" Pat Emery II, 52, of Erwin passed away at his residence on Saturday May 2nd, 2026. He was born to the late William Pat and Nellie Bernice Emery in Johnson City on July 4th, 1973.
Bill was of the Free Will Baptist faith. He was a loving family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family. When Bill was having a rough day the sound of his grandbabies laughing and playing nearby brought him comfort. He had worked as a construction supervisor for many years for J.A. Street. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his work when he was able. Bill could always be found working on a project, tinkering with various projects or building computers. He loved life. In his spare time, he liked fishing, mudding, listening to classic rock, spending time in the mountains or shooting guns. Bill made the most of every day.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Robin Emery of the home; children, Shaylan Broyles, Savanah Emery, and Aleah Emery; grandchildren, Everleigh Broyles, Elena Broyles, and Noah Buchanan; a brother, David Emery; uncles, David Story, Johnny Story, and Tommy Emery and his wife, Willie. Many other family members and friends also survive that will miss him
A memorial service to honor Bill's life will be held on Thursday May 7th, 2026 at 2 pm at Valley Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank all those that have offered kind words and prayers during this time.
