Edna Turner of Vero Beach, FL has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Edna spent her working life as ['nanny and a housekeeper for the Graves Family of Vero Beach for several decades'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Some days simply pass; others stay with us forever.

Edna Ross Turner, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida.

Edna was born in Americus, Georgia in the summer of 1935.

She worked as a nanny and a housekeeper for the Graves Family of Vero Beach for several decades.

Edna was a member of the House of God Pillar and Ground of True Holiness.

Survivors include her son Rick Anthony Turner of Orlando, FL and Reggie Turner of Jacksonville, FL; grandson Zachary Turner of Jacksonville, FL; god-daughter Carla McLendon (Roy) of Vero Beach, FL. and cousin Bernice Idlette; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Edna was predeceased by her mother Lula Mae Ross, father Alvin Clark, brothers John Ross and Willie Ross, and sister Mary Alice Roberts.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Humble Church of Living God in Christ (3655 47th Street, Vero Beach, Florida).

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
