Mary Rossman of Rochester, MN has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Mary Rossman passed peacefully on April 30, 2026, in Rochester. Mary was born on January 12, 1938, to Leo and Elizabeth Rossman at home in Olmsted County. She was raised on a farm and went to country school. She graduated from Lourdes in 1956. She received her nurses training from Mercer County Community College in Trenton, NJ.
Mary was a registered nurse for the Mayo Clinic, retiring in 1998. Following her retirement she did volunteer work with Bundles of Love Charity in Rochester, volunteered on mission trips with Christian Appalachian Project in Kentucky, Habitat for Humanity in Alabama, and Maranatha in Honduras.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Bill Rossman, Ann (Bill) Herman, and Pat Hebig; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Margaret Jones, Eileen O'Brien, and Rita Daywitt; brother Robert Rossman; brother-in-law Russel Jones, Francis O'Brien, John Daywitt, Harlan Hebig; sister-in-law Virginia Rossman; nephews Danny Jones, Tim O'Brien and nieces Shirley Brown, Judy Kucaba, and Ronda Rossman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
