After a life of love and quiet grace, Elizabeth Lousie "Betsie" Klopp of Rochester, MN has passed.

Elizabeth (Betsie) Lousie Klopp (Claydon), b. 4-15-1944, d. 4-28-2026

Elizabeth L. Klopp, of Rochester, passed away on 4-28-2026 while residing in long term nursing care at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, following 45 years of residence at the Valhalla Condominiums.

She is survived by her two sons; Brett Klopp of Port Washington, NY and Andrew Klopp, of Crystal, MN; her sister Sally Nathanson (Claydon) of Ft. Myers, FL; her grandson, Jonathan Klopp of Boston, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Littman also of Port Washington, NY.

Born in Red Wing, MN she moved to Rochester as a child with her parents; James A. Claydon (deceased) and mother, Joyce A. Claydon (deceased). She graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester and attended Drake University in Iowa for two years. She was married to Wallace E. Klopp for ten years and she worked for Rennings Flowers for approximately 20 years.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, as well as her sister Nancy Conat (Claydon) and brother Jon Claydon.

A private memorial service and internment will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church in July.
