ROBERTA L. (DEEHAN) WHITE, of Woburn, died peacefully on April 23rd at the age of 89, with her family by her side. Devoted mother of Mary White (Sasa Periskic) of Winchester, Alfred White of Woburn, George White (Cynthia) of Winter Park, FL, and Douglas White (Lorie) of Mill Creek, WA. Loving grandmother of Ryan White (Savannah), Caroline White, Jackson White, Stipan White Periskic, Alexandra White Periskic, and Jelena White Periskic. Cherished daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Shea) Deehan. Dear sister of the late Charles and Paul Deehan, Mary Winston, Patricia Conroy, and Joanne Jolley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, Woburn, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30th. Visiting hours will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, prior to the Mass on Thursday morning from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Roberta's memory to Woburn Dollars for Scholars P O Box 202 Woburn, MA 01801
ROBERTA "BERTIE" (DEEHAN) WHITE, 89, passed away peacefully in Winchester Hospital on April 23, 2026. She was born the youngest child in a large, loving family in Woburn, MA, where she was a lifelong resident. Roberta attended St. Charles High School, Boston State Teachers College, and obtained her Master's Degree in Education from Northeastern University. She was an elementary school teacher in the Woburn Public Schools for more than 30 years before retiring.
Loving daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Shea) Deehan, Roberta was predeceased by her cherished siblings, Charles and Paul Deehan, Mary Winston, Patricia Conroy, and Joanne Jolley.
Roberta leaves her daughter, Mary White (Sasa Periskic) of Winchester; her sons, Alfred White of Woburn, George White (Cynthia) of Winter Park, FL, and Douglas White (Lorie) of Mill Creek, WA; her grandchildren, Stipan, Alexandra, and Jelena White Periskic, and Ryan (Savannah), Caroline, and Jackson White.
