After a life of love and quiet grace, Shirley Walker Smith of Moncks Corner, SC has passed.

Shirley (Lincoln) Walker Smith passed peacefully on the morning of April 28, 2026.
Shirley was born on September 7, 1938, in Nashville, TN. She was married to Paul W. Walker in 1958. Following Paul's passing in 1969, she married Raymond C. Smith in 1970.
Shirley is survived by her children, Tammy Smith, Trudy DeWitt, and Troy Smith, as well as her grandchildren, Danny Smith, Brandy Krausmann, and Jessica Slapak. She also had four great-grandchildren, Walker Smith, Carmen Smith, Brianna Krausmann, and Christopher Slapak.
Praise was heartfelt for those who sampled Shirley's cooking, especially her desserts. She also spent her quiet time reading novels. Shirley was a fan of all things Disney and enjoyed trips to Disney World with Troy and his wife, Sandy.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, TN. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM, with a period of sharing memories beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.
