Carl's visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV.
The funeral will be 11 A.M. on Monday, May 4th at the funeral home with Pastor Allen Donaldson, a longtime friend of the family, officiating.
His burial with military rites will be held in the WV National Cemetery, Grafton.

Carl Edward Hamric was born on June 9, 1939, and was welcomed home by Jesus at 10:37 am on April 28, 2026.
He retired from the US Army in 1978 after serving 20 years of military service. While in the service, Carl was a Mechanic. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served time in Korea and Thailand.
During their marriage they were blessed with three daughters, Rebecca Skidmore of Upperglade, WV, Sharon (Joel) McCollam of Sutton, WV, Barbara (Bryan) Long of Flatwoods, WV; and one son, Jeffrey Carl (Pam) Hamric of Sutton, WV.
Carl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna Mae (Davis) Hamric; two sisters Ruth (John) Cogar, and Catherin (Chester) Sparks; and one brother Kenneth Hamric.
Carl and Anna are survived by 10 grandchildren; Tallah (Nick) Alderman of Summersville, Miranda (James) Craft of Upperglade, Terrie (James) Barnes of Loveland, Ohio, Barbara Conley of Sutton, Elizabeth (Eric) Gomez of Sutton, Victoria (Zac) Cunningham of Weston, Joy Hamric (Daniel) of Fenwick, Jessica (Josh) Huffman of Gassaway, Keith Long (Amber) of Flatwoods, and Faith Long of Flatwoods.
He is survived by 23 great grandchildren; Nicholas, Lexie, Elijah, Erica, Chase, Dakota, Josie, Barbie, Jonna, Marcus, Lit' Randi, Boothe, Denver, Kiara, RaeAnn, Lindsey, Joseph, Arabella, Matthew, Brieanna, Christian, Brendon, Justin; and 4 great-great grandchildren, Maverick, Abby, Annaleigh, and Samuel.
Preceded in death are one grandson, Colton Facemire; two sisters, Glendora Russell, Anna Marie Nichols; and one brother, Ralph Jr. Hamric.
