Thomas R. Haberman, 79, of Carrick, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026.

A gifted musician from a young age, Tom appeared at age 15 on the television variety program Ted Mack's Amateur Hour, where he performed The Flight of the Bumblebee. He was featured on the show twice, an early highlight of his lifelong connection to music.

He went on to become a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973, graduating magna cum laude. He was also a member of the American Federation of Musicians.

He is survived by his nieces Kalna Bobyn (Joe) and Katrina Blankenship (Mike), and great-nephews Jayson and Noah. He was the beloved son of the late Nancy K. Haberman and George J. Haberman, and the brother of the late Susan (Dennis) Miller.

There will be no visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.
