Rochester – Ann passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 29, 2026 at age 95. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russell Frank "Ross" Battaglia; and treasured parents Thomas and Mary (Marrama) Olivere.
She is survived by her 5 children, daughters, Karen (Paul McCrossen), Lauri (Rob Triassi), Rosalyn Battaglia, Lynne Battaglia Triggs & son, Albert (Sara) Battaglia; her grandchildren,who brought her so much joy, Tommy (Shannon Sheffield), Carrie McCrossen (Ian McWethy), Meg McCrossen (Karl Bury), Sophia, Gia, Joseph Triassi, Michaela Liberacki, Isabella Battaglia, Nora (David) Gramlich, Jared (Nicole) Triggs , Jessica (Ben) Bianchi, Michelle Battaglia (Ryan Rueter); her Great Grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face, Charlotte & Cora Sheffield, Calvin & Pearl McWethy, Estelle & Ruby Bury, Hazel & Noelle Gramlich, Jovanni & Jiavanna Hyder, Jaina & Karmella Triggs, Axel Triassi.
Interment will be held privately. A Service to Honor and Celebrate Ann's 95 years of loving and being loved by her family and friends will be announced shortly, please check this website for updates.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Smile Train or World Central Kitchen honoring her Marrama family in Italy and Ann's love language of preparing delicious meals for those she loved.
