John Scigliano passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a profoundly kind man and a loving husband, father and brother. He was never shy to offer help to anyone in need. He always had a smile on his face and was an incredibly funny person who would light up the whole room with his presence.

John was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Concetta Scigliano. John is survived by, and will be deeply missed by, his wife, Imelda Scigliano; his son, Don Vincent Scigliano; his siblings, Consolata Scigliano, Carmelina Scigliano, Giuseppina Scigliano, Robert Scigliano, and Laura Scigliano; his many aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces; and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester; followed by a Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 11 AM at Calvary Assembly, 3429 Chili Ave, Rochester. Interment, Westside Memorial Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions or donations may be made to The Isaiah House, 1005 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 [ Donate Online ] in honor of the hospice home where John stayed during his final moments, and in appreciation of their volunteers/staff who welcomed him with open arms and genuinely cared for him as if he were family.
