On May 2nd, our lives were forever touched by the arrival and departure of our beautiful son, Matias Escamilla Tovar. Though he spent his entire life held in our arms and nestled in our hearts, the imprint he left on our souls is eternal.
Matias was a quiet miracle-a brief gift who taught us the depth of a parent's love in just a few sacred moments. While our arms are heavy with his absence, our hearts are full of the peace he brought with him. Our family was not prepared to say goodbye so soon, yet we find comfort in knowing that the only thing Matias ever knew was the sound of our voices and the depth of our love.
He is forever loved by his parents, Josue and Crystal; his big brothers, Nicolas and Elias, who will always carry their littlest brother in their hearts; and a large, devoted family of grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Matias was too pure for this world, and while we are heartbroken, we are eternally grateful for the chance to have met our littlest angel.
