It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Wilhelm Robert Sydney Casasola of Oklahoma City, OK — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
These pages are a small offering toward a much larger life.
The hands that raised children leave fingerprints on the future.
Wilhelm Robert Sydney Casasola “Peter” passed away on April 28th, 2026, in Oklahoma City.He was born on April 3rd, 1943, to Mr. & Mrs. Edward Casasola making him the tenth out of thirteen children. He attended St. Paul’s Bank R.C Primary School. In those days, after completing primary school, you didn't just sit around and play…it was work time. Our Dad took him to work on the plantation. He also spent time with our Dad farming, hunting and logging. Peter enjoyed hunting and cooking. His favorite pass time was playing cricket and football. He was only 12 years old when he was asked to play cricket on the Excelsior Cricket team. He turned out to be one of the best players in the country. We all had fun growing up together, joking, partying and putting on gloves and teasing each other. Sometimes we would get upset at each other and our mom would always be there to put us in our place. On one faithful day, Peter met the love of his life, Miss Estella Frances McKoy and on November 30th, 1968, the pair would join in Holy Matrimony. In this union, they became parents to ten children: Anthony, Brian, Carolyn, Marsha, Wilhelm Jr., Jacqueline, Leroy, Francis, Robert and Denise. Forty-one grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.Peter was very humble, caring, giving and hard-working. His motto was "show up when it matters most "He made several trips to the United States of America. It was one of those trips where he got sick and God saw it fit to call him home.Rest in peace Peter.MY DEAR BROTHER WE WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU!
