He is survived by his sister, Joanne (Marty) Sorge; nephew, Brian (Joelle) Sorge; niece, Kristin (Philip) Cortese; great nieces and great nephew, Alyssa, Kayla, and Madeline Sorge, Giovanni, Giuliana, and Gemma Cortese; stepdaughter, Cindi Pedeville; cousins and friends.
Peter was an active parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Church. He had been an avid golfer, card player, and amateur stock trader.
No prior visitation. On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Inurnment, Village of Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, NY 14506 in his memory.
