Morgan Marshall Williamson, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 37. Born on February 9, 1989, in Porterville, California, Morgan was known for his sharp intellect, deep curiosity, and the warmth and protection he offered to those he loved.Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisville, reflecting both his analytical mind and his interest in understanding the world around him. He had a lifelong love of learning, especially when it came to trivia, where his remarkable knowledge and quick thinking stood out to everyone who knew him.He found joy in many hobbies, including playing video games and tabletop role-playing games with his friends, where he combined creativity, strategy, and camaraderie. Morgan was also a devoted fan of Star Wars, a passion that brought him both excitement and connection with others who shared his enthusiasm. One of his favorite pastimes was listening to "An Old Timey Podcast" with his wife, Valerie-simple moments that meant the world to him.Morgan was a deeply devoted husband to Valerie Short, with whom he shared a loving and supportive friendship even after their separation. He is also survived by his brothers, Tyler Williamson and Skye Hunter; his sister, Laura Ballinger, for whom he served as both protector and father figure; his cherished grandparents, Carol Williamson and Clive Williamson; his three beloved cats, Izzy, Tabby, and T.J., who were constant companions in his daily life; and many wonderful friends.Morgan will be remembered for his intelligence, his loyalty, his humor, and the steady presence he provided to those closest to him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the games played, and the love he gave so freely.
